As a current sophomore I will be ending with a total of 3-4 C’s on my semester transcripts. My question is how much will it effect me for future college applications.
Depends upon which schools you are targeting.
some example schools I am highly interested are practically all UC’s but Merced, Wake Forest, UofM Ann Arbor, UofW Madison, UofWashington, and Boston U/Boston College
Surprisingly my course load will still be heavy/hard and while I wont make excuses for the grades, I will be dropping my sport and confident I can make all A’s and few B’s next junior/senior year.
There is no way of knowing until you finish at least Junior year. Figure out how to improve for next year and once you have Junior year under your belt, you can better evaluate your chances and come up with a reasonable college list that fits your stats.
Thanks, I was just really afraid this early fault will ruin my chances but I guess you never know.
I do not think that a C can kill you. I mean, it would have to somehow hop off of your transcript and obtain a gun, a knife, or something else deadly. But, you never know these days. Lock your doors and hide from those Cs.
