RECOMMENDATIONS: They were quite positive and solid from the ones I was allowed to see! Submitted by marching band director, college professor, English teacher, math/stats teacher, & research advisors relative to both majors
ESSAYS: I worked with qualified admissions officers who were the alumni of schools I’ve applied to, and they believed they were quite solid and creative!
COST: If I get into one of my top schools, I’ll probably be taking out loans, but I’d say the combined income of my household (including me) is around 200k
ADDITIONAL: I took a gap year for an acting project, but I’m also very focused on my physics research and still taking additional college courses. Research was done with university advisors, usually at a graduate level!
Did Harvard REA since it’s my top school. I was offered an alumni interview which I would say was pretty average and not offered an interview with an admissions officer, so I hope that wasn’t a bad sign…
I applied to Cambridge and was offered an interview (which I haven’t done yet) if that helps!!
PS: I know the schools I’m applying to are SUPER competitive and I don’t have international awards or recognition like many of the students they admit, so please feel free to be honest with me— I’d like to manage my expectations for the 14th. My anxiety has definitely been getting the best of me this week to the point where I can’t function tbh any help is appreciated!
PLEASE be nice <3
