I’m currently a Freshman, and like pretty much everyone else on CC, I’m taking highly advanced classes. The only issue with this is simply that I will have to start taking IB next year (school is IB only). My counselor says that if I want to test in these classes, I will have to wait until Junior/Senior years.
Unfortunately, there is really no other option, unless I take community college courses or something.
These are the IB classes I’m probably going to take:

IB Chem SL (1 IB science will pretty much be mandatory, and apparently this one is the easiest)
IB Physics SL (really interested in taking this class too, but can be switched for something else)
IB Math HL 1 (can be switched to SL 1)
IB Econ SL
IB Psych SL (can be switched to a non-IB elective)
IB Comp Sci SL (can be switched to a non-IB elective)

If this proves too difficult, I may even consider transferring to a different school that offers a larger variety of courses through AP.

Should I make any of the changes explained above? Should I try and make it less rigorous? I’m not quite sure what to do, and my counselor doesn’t really know either.

Thanks!
