Will not having AP's hurt my chances?

I’m an international student and in my country (Brazil) we do not have AP’s or anything of the sort, therefore I won’t be able to have a weighted GPA, would that hurt my chances considering it’s not my fault?

No

International students don’t need GPAs. Many national curricula of countries other than the US are more advanced than APs. You only need to worry about doing well in the context of your school (i.e are you considered a very good student in your school, relative to your peers?)

Yes I am, my average would be considered low in the US, but here I’m one of the best students. My school doesn’t rank but I’m pretty sure I must be at least top 10%

Then you don’t have to worry about your grades at all!

Thank you so much you’ve taken so much worry off of me haha !
