Will UCLA rescind my offer of admission?

@Collegedropout1 it takea a while for it to go away like 2 days

@Sonic23 Damn! I thought I was in the clear. Anyway, how long did it take for them to get back to you after you submitted changes?

@CollegeDropout1‌ it took them 1 week to get back to me. I submitted on a Monday, my acceptance disappeared on Friday, and they responded on the following Monday.

I submitted my changes Friday night, my decision letter disappeared Monday night and now I am waiting. So scared that they are gonna revoke me.

@collegedroput1 I submitted Friday the 18th and I got a response Wed or Thurday after and it took 2 days for my acceptance letter to be posted back up

@sonic23, wow it took them less than a week to get back to you? I worry that the longer they take, it means bad news.

@ivelosthope yes I was so happy it didn’t take any longer. Those few days felt like hell
and I think they may be taking longer know because so many people are submitting changes, I think I got a quick response because I submitted my change as soon as my decision posted on the 18th

UPDATE
I turned in my app. update about dropping a class unrelated to my major and doesn’t affect the 60 unit mark and…
the admission offer stands!!
so happy :D

@snowbosan9 Did they modify your admission contract.

@CollegeDropout1‌ Not yet. I only received the email today so it might update tomorrow. I’m not sure if there will be major changes though.

@Snowbosan9 Since I am in the same situation, can you inform me about contracts changes if there are any?

Received an email today as well. I dropped a Physics course, and both Berkeley and UCLA said it’s fine although at Berkeley it’s a pre-req and strongly recommended by UCLA.

So has anyone been rescinded? It seems like it’s not possible. Ya’ll are dropping courses, major prep courses at that, left and right and UCLA seems to be ok with it.

@snowbosan9‌

What was your stated reason for dropping that class? I may be in a similar situation soon.

@Cayton‌ Conflicting with work schedule and would pull down my grades

@snowbosan9‌

OK, thanks!

@RamonaFalls‌ I saw 1 person get rescinded, but they fell under 60 units.

@Cayton You asked me for an update, and here it is! They didn’t revoke my admission even after dropping 12 units!

@Collegedropout1 Congrats!!! wowowow. You have guts! I’m taking 2 hard courses right now and I didn’t want to drop them because I thought I would get rescinded. I still haven’t heard back from them regarding the courses I didn’t get into…when did you turn in your academic changes?

@CollegeDropout1‌

Nice! It seems UCLA is really forgiving about this type of stuff as long as you still complete IGETC, major pre-reqs and all that other important stuff. Congrats. :P
