Release watch starting next Friday and continuing through the next week if needed. I didn’t remember them releasing on Sat. so that’s great info!

Anyone knows how many spots left after the 2 rounds of ED releases?
Last year they took about 41% of the class ED.

So I think it pays to be precise about what you mean by “spots”. There are enrollment spots, and there are admit spots, and usually RD admit spots are a significant multiple of post-ED enrollment spots because most colleges have a fairly low RD yield. So, like, if they had 1000 post-ED enrollment spots, they might have 4000-6000 RD admit spots. That sort of thing.

Last year, they admitted 5077 under RD. You can look at WMs Common Data Set for some more numbers

I’d expect around ~4500 this year. W&M is piloting a yield rate increasing program this year.

Instead of an ad campaign, offer more merit and/or need-based aid? My kiddo got a Cypher postcard so he’s a likely admit, but with no money we’ll have to cross W&M off, and those ads are gonna make me bitter, LOL!

A bit hard to know since we don’t know how many OOS were given in the ED round.
