What I think is more likely: Snow has delayed their intent and release will be tomorrow or Thursday evenings.

I think it could still be today, even with the late opening. But I also thought it would be last Friday, so clearly I have no idea.
Waiting with a mixture of hope and dread. My son wants this so badly. I didnât realize how much until, a few months ago, I told him about the path to admission for waitlisted applicants - and he surprised me by saying heâd be all in for that, go to the local community college there or study abroad in the fall, with hope of admission to WM in the spring, instead of elsewhere. He did get acceptances from 2 schools already and we liked both - but I suspect heâd still wait it out for WM. So - acceptance or even deferral, câmon universe!

Someone posted on the Reddit thread that they called admissions and confirmed release today, Tuesday Dec 9 at 5pm. Not sure how reliable the poster is but we shall see!!

For what itâs worth, and probably not worth much - but I confess I broke down and called last Friday. I got the impression that the kind person who answered already knew the date, but they checked and werenât allowed to say more than âearly December.â But maybe, if there was already a planned date, the snow wonât have impacted that? I really have no idea. Speculation is fun. (Acceptance would be more fun, though.)

When I went through this with kid #1, the few times other parents here reported that theyâd called schools and been told a release date, they were right. (Iâd never called before myself.) So - fingers crossed!

Decisions are out. We didnât get an email yet - checked the portal at 4:55. My son was denied. Itâs awful to see him so sad.

My daughter was accepted, in-state, Northern VA. Relieved the wait is over!

My son got in (in state, nova) and also accepted to Monroe Scholars which was a great surprise.
