<p>I am stuck deciding between these two Liberal Arts Colleges.</p>
<p>Can anyone give me imput as to why W&M is a better choice than Hamilton?</p>

<p>There was a girl in my freshman dorm who chose W&M over Hamilton even though Hamilton recruited her for basketball and W&M did not. Basically, she said, she just didn’t want to go to school in upstate New York. Not that Williamsburg is buzzing with excitement, but the winters are much less brutal.</p>
<p>This probably isn’t the answer you were looking for, but at least take heart in the fact that people base their college decisions on all kinds of reasons, serious and frivolous. Whichever you pick, you’ll likely be just fine. And if you don’t like it, you can always transfer.</p>
<p>W&M isn’t an LAC, though it focuses on undergrad education more than it does to grads’.</p>
