Wind power seems like a great technology with few if any drawbacks, but apparently, people living close to them disagree. They hate the look of then along with the noises and shadows, and it seems as if the government not only knows this, but is trying to cover up the ugly look of it. Check out the article and the photos, and you will see what I mean. Anyone going into school for this type of design?

Those look like a great idea. I don’t have a link but I have also seen turbines made for city use that can generate power from swirling wind. They look more like sculptures than turbines.

I imagine living “under” a turbine is crappy like living under electrical lines or next to a substation. For me, if I could see a turbine but not be in its shadow, I would be fine with it. If they’re producing cleaner power than the coal, oil, and gas guys, they look mighty beautiful to me. I also like watching them turn, sort of relaxing.
