Windows 8 vs Macs laptops? Revisited.

<p>I decided to revisit this because I am still not sure.</p>

<p>I had learned that PC tend to not last long as a Mac would.
Taking price out of the equation what should I get and why?</p>

<p>-Much be 15’ or more
-Engineering</p>

<p>Well that changes everything. If you’re doing engineering I’d probably swing towards PC. Macs are more for being sexy and fun.</p>

<p>Why not just stick with Windows 7?</p>

<p>And I disagree with all the people that think Mac is superior. It isn’t, though it is more expensive.</p>

<p>And as for longevity… I’ve got a gateway laptop from 2007 that is still kicking quite well.</p>

<p>The marketing, production, development, and lack of adherence to what people wanted changed Windows 8 into some tablet form version on a computer… in an age where touch screen monitors aren’t the norm. It is rife with business problems and driver errors, much like Vista.</p>
