Tomorrow’s my interview to get accepted into the Prep 9 program, if I get in I’ll be the next candidate for either Choate, Deerfield, Exeter, Andover, Lawrenceville, Middlesex, Taft, Milton, St. Andrews, or Hotchkiss) I really want to get in, If I do, all of my dreams will come true, I hope I do great at that interview! Wish me luck guys!

Good luck! It sounds like a great program, and a wonderful opportunity for you.
Have you heard of A Better Chance? Someone who posted a little on this board got into that program. There might be another program called Prep for Prep.

There is another program called Prep for Prep but it helps students get into one of New York’s elite private day schools. I got into that program too, well I got past the 1st level screening, I failed the interview miserably, but I’ll do better this year (that’s probably due to the fact that my parents paid a man a few hundred dollars to come in and teach me how to take an interview) I’m better prepared for this interview, and thanks for the luck!

Actually, Prep for Prep sends students not only to NY dchools, but to many excellent boarding schools as well.

http://www.prepforprep.org/prepforprep/uploadedFiles/Independent%20and%20Boarding%20School%20Enrollment%202004%20-%202005(1).pdf

They even send Prep for Prep students to the Fay School, an excellent junior boarding school.

Note that the link said enrollment of prep for prep and prep 9, in the booklet the prep 9 gave me it clearly stated that no prep 9 students went to day school, and no prep for prep students went to boarding schools. So It’s the prep 9 kids that went to fay, not the prep for prep kids. That’s funny because I was really bummed out about not getting into prep for prep, but when I got into prep 9, i was so happy that I failed that interview miserably.

Good luck, Ida!

Don’t worry if you’re not Irish – we’ll lend you all you need!

Aww thanks Novelisto, I’m going to get my result in a few days

How did it go?

Yeah, how did it go Ida?

thanks so much for asking, the interview was O.K, the first interview was terrible, the second was fantastic, the IQ test was disappointing and I still haven’t gotten my result! I’m not exactly confident, but there have been so many signs around me that clearly state “boarding school” so I might have a chance. I even had a dream in which I was rejected and I wept for hours, I wept in the dream not in real life, it’s scary I’ve never cried in a dream, well not in a dream I still remember.
