There is a lot of information that you have not given us.
However, medical school is a very difficult path. It requires many years of university, with very difficult classes. At least half of all students who originally enter university intending to be premed students do not complete their premed requirements. At least half, and probably more than half, of the students who do complete their undergrad premed requirements and apply to medical school don’t get accepted to any medical school at all.
Medical schools expect students to carry a full load of classes throughout their undergrad years, and to maintain a high GPA. A GPA less than 3 is not going to get you into medical school. You need at least about a 3.5 with a very difficult course load. Taking 3 W’s and completing only 2 classes in a semester is not going to get you into medical school.
I think that you need to first figure out what is keeping you from being successful in your class work. You probably should be seeing a counselor at your university. You then might want to reconsider whether you want to be a premed students. When you visit a hospital you will see a lot of medical professionals. Most of them are not doctors. You might want to find out what other alternatives there are. However, first you need to get your class work in order.
First step, see a counselor at your university. Also, start attending all classes and trying very hard to stay ahead in all of your course work.
So basically it’s better to not drop the class and take more classes next semester with excellent grades right ?
