<p>My teenage sons both wear top-quality backpacking boots purchased for less than $30 at REI’s Scratch-and-Dent sale. I <heart> cheap boots. </heart></p>
<p>Also, who says men don’t have a lot of shoes? I think I have more than my wife: black sneakers, running shoes, black dress shoes, brown dress shoes, backpacking boots, winter boots, snow boots, leather work boots, bowling shoes (very old), working-in-the-garage shoes, gardening sneakers, brown walking shoes, expensive sandals that don’t fit right, $5 Wal-Mart sandals that are great, flip-flops, boat shoes (Top Siders), and bicycling shoes. Pretty much, if it doesn’t require special shoes it’s not a sport.</p>
