Yep - I was rooting for Canada, though. They wasted so many good opportunities late with bad set pieces and shanked passes. They had momentum and really imploded in stoppage time.
I was rooting for Canada too. It’s always good for the games to have the home country’s team make it to the end.
Mistakes and missed opportunities. Tancredi will be kicking herself for the missed opportunity which if she had captialized may have made it a very different game.
I don’t think we are going to win tomorrow…
but I will be watching and cheering!
Hope Abby starts on the bench.
I saw Abby 2 years ago in Portland at a women’s pro soccer game. She was the best player on the field. Alex Morgan played on the other team but Abby was the best player.
Abby looks so much slower than 2 years ago. I don’t think she should start either. I would start the same front two as the last game unless one or both of those two are too tired. Rodriguez is frenetic on the pitch and that’s a good thing. Also let Carli Lloyd be Carli Lloyd!
