It was a great game - I was rooting England so was thrilled although I wish they’d gotten their goal in the run of play. They really dominated. Their defense and keeper held strong early and the offense really turned it on 2nd half.

Well, let’s hope for an exciting game and not a redux of Spain’s victory in South Africa with a similar run of poor games and few goals. Carli Lloyd has the chance to erase her abysmal games in the last WC.
We need to make it through the first 15 high-emotion minutes without too many yellows or, heaven forbid, a red.
We should beat Japan, but we won’t win it in the first 15 minutes; but we could lose it if the refs are sensitive and we are aggressive.
I think it’s a 2-1 game for us, with late drama. Maybe Japan gets a PK and Solo saves it. idunno… I see late drama though.
I don’t know what the result will be. It’s hard for me to guess and I don’t have any basics to guess. But I think the game will be exciting. May the best team win. Of course I root for the US team.
