Wonderful, my grades are messed up

So, I recently discovered two things:

1.) On my official transcript, I have an F for Latin 5, despite the A that was on my report card. This is because I needed to file an attendance appeal, and I did, with the dean, and the Latin teacher said that I should receive the A (it is up to her whether I get the A or have to take a competency exam). However, she said it like:

“He can keep the grade he earned. I bothered him enough about it in my college speech class. grin =D”

The dean assumed “=D” meant I got a D, but that was straightened out that day. Now, apparently, I need to go and deal with this again, before I need my transcripts to be sent out.

2.) I took two online college literature classes over the summer (online because I was traveling). In one I received an A, and in one I received a B. I assumed that the B was going to be an A, so I figured I bombed the last test. Well, actually, despite the fact that the first summer semester ended at the end of June, I just received an email from that professor saying that he forgot to tell me that he never received my essay that was supposed to be sent in with the test, and if I sent it, he would change my grade. So I did, and I’m waiting on that.

But really, why does this have to happen? I mean, I’m glad I caught the A=F mistake (my mother and I were just online making sure I had fulfilled all of my requirements, and saw it), and I’m happy that the B will be an A, but I wish both had just been right in the first place. Good news is, with both these changes, my class rank and GPA will go up.
