I am an international student.
I am applying for Biotech engineering and am concerned about a certain aspect of my application.
I have won certain EC awards for debating at national and regional levels.
–>Most Promising Speaker in a national debate,
–> 3rd at a regional debate
–> Best team in a multimedia presentation (national)</p>
<p>However, most colleges only ask for scholastic distinctions. For instance, in my application to MIT and Caltech, I have not listed these awards because they ask for scholastic distinctions. I have only described my positions in the team, and the competition in a brief description of my ECs.</p>
<p>After this, I read at one of their sites that most intl students enrolled have regional and national level awards. Do you think I should write to the colleges now and add this to my application?
