<p>I’m from Australia and am planning on going to Arizona State University for exchange. However, I would also like to work in a career-relevant job while I am there. Is this allowed, paid or unpaid? Do I need to apply for any work visas or similar? I also have Canadian citizenship, so I’m not sure if that changes anything.</p>
<p>i’m from australia too, and from what i know you are not allowed to work for money unless it’s a job on campus, and i think it has to be less than 20 hours per week… i would think that an unpaid position would be okay, i’ve done unpaid work experience in canada without a work visa… as for having canadian citizenship changing anything, i have no idea, quite possible though…</p>
