Workload for seas [thinking of adding Chinese MAndrin]

<p>Hello I am at 18 creds atm with pe, chem[1400] phys[1600] calc2 gateway, huma western music [1 out of like 40 classes was still open so i just picked it] chem rec,.</p>

<p>I wanted to know if it is a wise choice to petition for one more credit to the max to take Chinese, mandrin elementary? I will sit in the class tm but im not registered…
I have no idea what to expect on work load in total for my classes; and for huma music [did not see my prof on culpa A. Rothe?]</p>

<p>Phys 1600 and chinese are both a good amount of work. See how the semester turns out in terms of balancing work and play.</p>

<p>I emailed the prof and she said about work load is class then about 2 hours every day. So she suggested taking intro chinese [mandrin] next semester, and go to china over the summer to learn more. which seems like a better idea to me…allowing me to get accustomed to school again and I get music huma out of the way.</p>
