I just finished watching the replay. I knew the result earlier but it’s still exciting.

Forlan’s brilliance was on display again, wow.

They mentioned during the game that Suarez is getting a look from Manchester United.

Sad that Klose didn’t get to play. He is 31 so this is most likely (98%+) his last World Cup. Sitting on 14 career World Cup goals, tied for 2nd all time.

Very dangerous tackle from that German in the beginning, yikes.

the same way you do on a PC. Use the command key (the one with the apple on it next to the space bar) instead of control. Command + C = copy. Command + V = paste.

Yes, sad about Klose. These coaches are fierce/unsentimental. Curious to see whether Torres starts. Or plays at all.

Forlan should get golden ball. but he probably won’t since his team is not in the final.

2 hours 30 minutes to go. Please take your seat and have some crispy calamari and Heineken beer.

Exactly shy they didn’t let Klose play? i thought that he didn’t play becuase of an injury?

Klose has a back injury

thanks lotsofquest…

Wow, the cleats to the chest was one of the most dangerous fouls I have seen this world cup.

O.K… I woke up from my nap to find myself watching the finals.

Question: Is this considered “good” soccer?

^Depends on who you ask. I would consider yesterday’s match between Uruguay and Germany good soccer.

Nope. Disappointing so far, and not just because there are no goals.

Lots of ref intervention. And it’s a good example of a great “passing” game on Spain’s part.

they’re saying it’s terrible

I watched the Netherlands player hit the Spanish player in the chest with his cleats. Ouch!

Ohhhhihhhh! So close!

Wow! That’s going viral.

Uh oh! Down to 10 for the Netherlands.

Not a shoot out. Please! I hate that a game in a team sport, such as futbol/soccer would be decided one-on-one. I concede that it makes sense after 2 overtimes in the Cup finals or semis. Is it it really necessary in other contests? Ties are ties.anyway, I’d much prefer that at team goal decide this game.
