****...World Cup

And Crouch STILL finds his way into the lineup. to probably play 89 minutes of ball

ENG and SWE tied now. Did you say Crouch?

ugh…yellow again.

Huh? What do you mean, Hazmat?

Wow…that England vs. Sweden game was awesome. I wonder how Sweden will fare against Germany…

Final Yellow card…that is what I meant.

Germany is in position to win another WC in my opinion

When Sweden scored their second, and game-tying, goal against England, wasn’t the Swedish guy who scored the goal in the goalie box or whatever it’s called. And if he was, doesn’t that mean it wasn’t a goal?

Mex v POR and gotta wonder if a score for MEX is coming in the last minute. Portugal is looking good but not aggressive as the time mounts.

Morte yellow card=8 yellow today…1 RED GO FIFA

I just want Netherlands to beat Argentina.

And people score inside the goal area all the time, usually off of corners and crosses.

I’m rooting for Argentina to beat the Netherlands. (Annoyed with the refing in their win over Ivory Coast). I think Germany has a good chance, but I’m looking to Brazil, Spain, and Argentina to step up their game (a lot esp for Brazil) and definitely challenge that…They’re looking really good though…

This has been bugging me for a while, and I watched the FIFA replays on their website, but:

In Spain’s 2nd goal against Tunisia, the first one by Fernando Torres…wasn’t he offside?

I dont even bother knowing anymore…just trusting the sideline refs judgement. Its a rule thats vague to most people…and can be quite controversial at times.

“In Spain’s 2nd goal against Tunisia, the first one by Fernando Torres…wasn’t he offside?”

Nope. He was in line with the last man.

112th cap for Van der Sar! Hopefully its a good one…ties the record for Holland

I don’t get why van basten didn’t summon huntelaar for the WC…
hes the leading scorer in holand and is leagues away from van persie…

Yea in the Eridivise…Van Persie plays in the Premiership, a much better league. I was suprised to see Hesselink in the lineup though…I like Kuyt, Feyenoord is my fav. dutch team. And of course you need van nistelrooy, always a top premiership scorer. And huntelaar is a striker…while van basten likes to move ‘strikers’ like robben and van persie up to midfield. But I would of definitely of picked Huntelaar over Hesselink.

My Mexico is going to kick Argentina’s arrogant ass!!!

maybe(if we play well)…probably not though.

Rather a disappointing game between Argentina and Netherlands… I much preferred the Ivory Coast vs. Serbia-Montenegro game!

I like the Netherlans/Argentina game…well played draw in my opinion. On to Portugal, we’ll win of course :)

and so we await the USA again. Such a complicated set of parameters for them to advance.

What are caps? I looked them up on Wikipedia and didn’t really understand what it said there.

I also thought the Netherlands/Argentina game was disappointing… Argentina in particular had a bunch of opportunities to score…

I’m glad the Ivory Coast finally won a game. I’m really hoping Ghana advances tomorrow…which would have to take a lot of goals + win over USA + a pretty decisive Italian win over Czech. Oh well…the chances are better for Ghana than for US.
