This guy at my college claims that he was going out with a girl around the end of high school and she seemed really into him…after the prom was over, she made some excuses for a few days to not hang out with him(but he didn’t realize it). She then told him that instead of her expected trip to a major city, she was going to a more remote part of the state and wouldn’t have cell service, but she’d let him know when she got back. 3 weeks later, he sees her facebook. The whole trip(which was over) took place in the major city. He calls her on the lie, and she tells him to leave her alone, blocks him on facebook, and never returns his calls/texts again.

This has got to be the harshest HS romance I have heard of…what’s yours?

Switched into a regular Algebra II class this past year after my honors teacher wouldn’t work with me and we had a conflict. Anyways, he was a junior and he was going out with a girl from my grade (sophomore). Anyways, they dated for four months and we’re very sexually active. Apparently she told him that she was taking the pill and condoms were unnecessary.

One month later the relationship is rocky. So after almost breaking up with her, he gets news that she missed her period. She tells him she’s been getting sick in the morning and she thinks she’s pregnant. Shenanigans go on for a month and she tells him she had a pregnancy test and it was positive. So he forces her to take a pregnancy test in front of him, it was found to be negative.

He called her on the lie and her little scheme of trying to keep him as her boyfriend. She cries and apologizes. He says its over. In one last desperate attempt, she says she’ll still have sex with him without protection…he walked away.

apparently it was a nice night with no conflict. the guy is smart(wharton guy like me) but might not be the most socially perceptive(i.e. easy for a girl to mess with). went to some rich philly school.

edit: he says he was so upset he had to see a therapist. sucks.

Here’s mine: I was dating this guy for a year and a half when he was about to leave for college. I’m two years younger so I was just entering junior year. Literally right before he left, he told me he cheated on me. With a boy.

I cut him some slack bc maybe he was curious or whatever. Stupid idea because this past January, 5 days before our 2 year anniversary, I found out for the past three months he was in a relationship with another boy from college. Needless to say I broke up with him at that point.

So moral of the story, never stay with someone who cheats on you.

I have never been the kind of girl to be seriously interested in anyone - I like casual dating and hook-ups. I went to Governor’s School for the first 4 weeks of the summer. I met the most amazing guy there. He has all of the qualities that I look for in a person, he loves all of my flaws (and I his), and we have the most stimulating conversation. Needless to say, we fell in love.

An acquaintance of mine dated a boy for 3 months. She was, for lack of a better term, dim witted, while her boyfriend was irrationally angry and moody.

Well, 2 months into it, she must have done something to make him angry and he refused to talk to her. When they finally did talk, he said he would need some time to decide whether or not he wanted to stay together…so, she waited in limbo for an entire MONTH, while he toyed with her. She was super distraught, while he was hooking up left and right.

eh, i block people on facebook all the time so i don’t have to talk to them. who cares? roflmao, life goes on. sure, he deserved to get the truth, but he didn’t. move on lol that’s not the worst high school romance story -____- oh and p.s: it’s HIGH SCHOOL

^ probably was the worst i’ve heard, since it was just really unexplainable and unnecessary. but the fake pregnancy story in this thread also sounds very weird.

I just knew one of my close friends has slept 52 times with boys. The first time because she believed it was true love. Geez what about the other 51?

Apparently her first one was because that boy kept saying that he love her, he’ll marry her, and stuff. When she’s 15.

i guess this isn’t the worst romance on this thread but my family has a timeshare in delaware and every time im there, i hook up with tons of different girls but in my hometown of new york where i reside, i don’t get any girls at all :(
