Would it be useless to go to an american uni then try & transfer to an international uni?

I was thinking it would look better on an admissions application going to university straight away close to home and then transferring to an university. Should I just go to community college instead or go to university then try and transfer?

Do you have money?

@paul2752 My parents said it could go up to a little over $20,000

No because international transfers barely get any money. Not sure if HKU even accepts international transfer.

You’d be considered a 1st year student. For HKU apply this year. For European and some Canadian (and Australian, I think) universities, 1 year of community college or college may be required for admission OR specific AP classes with specific AP scores.

@MYOS1634‌ @paul2752‌ What about HKUST or CUHK

Same thing. You’re better off applying as a freshman.
