I am trying to figure out if the number rounds up for postcounts. It seems we got a bump for the new year as well for years on cc, but the exact formula is still a little tricky, and you and I hit somemom at the same time.</p>

<p>For each 100 rep points you have earned, you get to give an additional rep point when you donate to others; this is why you will see frantic requests from people a couple points away from the next 100 – we all want to get across that threshold before we rep, to give everyone that day an extra point.</p>

<p>I believe I am 25 rep points short of being able to donate 70. Contributions welcome! :)</p>

<p>Shoot katwkittens - I didn’t know my point total before you hit me! I’m sorry. You calculate by 2 pts per year on cc + 1 pt per 500 posts + 1 pt per 100 rep points = how many points you give when you rep. You can find out how many rep points you currently have by going to the top left and clicking “My Control Panel”, on the right you’ll see your total points.</p>
