<p>The light green squares are harder to earn, except for the first one. The dark green squares appear with each additional 100 points, as does the first light green one. Thereafter, new light green squares require 200 additional points to appear.</p>
<p>The sequence is
1 dark square (start point)
4 additional dark squares @ 100, 200, 300, and 400
1st light green square @ 500
additional light green squares @ 700, 900, 1100, 1300 and 1500
final name change at 2000 points (“reputation beyond repute”)</p>
<p>There appears to not be a cap to how many points you can earn or give out, but outward symbols – the number of squares and the name – no longer change after 2000 points.</p>

I thought the more boxes one has the more points reps are given when repping…I’ve received one rep worth 51 points, and I think jym gave me more points than 51 for a rep. Thanks!</p>
