Good Morning my fellow seekers. It seems the overlords have recharged me in the dark wee hours of the night, yippee!!

I think someone told me yesterday I was 17 pts? Not a mega hitter, but a little dent.

I have also been spreading some reps to awesome members I really appreciate in forums I frequent, many who I rarely see outside of those forums. My guess is they don’t know about this, and as others have said, by the time they do my note of appreciation will long be gone from their feed. I wonder why that can’t be any longer? Maybe 10 or 12 entries. I may ask the overlords. I’m not concerned about being ‘repped back’, this ‘game’ will have run it’s course in short order. I’d like people to know when I’ve appreciated their contributions, because there are many unsung hero’s out there in individual forums.

Good morning, fellow minions & battle-hardened veterans. I will be tapped out until this evening, but if anyone cares to share the love, I’m about 20 points from leaving Niceville to being a glorious beacon – and I’m stopping there (although I must admit that this little game is addicting. I just keep wanting to reach the next level.)

Lay some rep on me & I’ll send hot mulled wine (Glűhwein) to accompany Onward’s cookies! We can have a virtual feast to accompany the green cheer!

Offering some Danish Glogg…will knock you on your keister so go easy my friends, it’s the mother of all hot mulled wines. Leave it to the Danes to add yet more alcohol to their wine. ;)

My recipe is from DH’s side of the family and has been handed down several generations. Yum!! I think I’ll make some tonight.

I’ll answer even though I’m middle of the pack here… That would be a big ole no! I stunk at video games. The only thing I could ever play was the original Mario on Nitendeo NES which I bought for DH when we were first engaged in 1989. Trying to get me interested again, the ‘boys’ bought the kickback Mario for the Wii but it had been so long that I never got the hang of it again, plus they blew past me in a day and it wasn’t fun anymore (yes, I’m a spoiled sport when I don’t win). I do fine until Mario has to swim…ugghh!

I probably wouldn’t have entered into the LGS grab but I have an annoying, energy zapping, cruddy thing that has coincided leaving me couch bound in between Dr’s appointments. Otherwise I would have had to be doing productive stuff.

Just wondered. I’m doing a scientific study on the relationship between CC’ers, their college days video addictions and their now, middle aged green square addictions.

Anyone with 5+ green squares will be co-authored with me on the study. :)

Nope, too broke to own any video games in grad school. But we were addicted to kitschy professional wrestling (ala Hulk Hogan & Rowdy Roddy Piper) & Trivial Pursuit games. (Studied public policy & international relations in grad school - do you think there is a correlation between public policy & the WWF?)

Good morning from a still-recovering Ms. PacMan addict on the west coast. This is a monumental day: big work event, freshman coming home, ED decisions for friends’ kids…and the real possibility a shiny new square - I’m just one point away. Thanks to everyone for your kindness - I will miss you all when the world ends.

I actually spent the better part of a year putting together a Trivial Pursuit type game using quotations as the theme. Sold a few hundred, but I was too late to market by then because the initial craze had peaked and stores were already awash with poorly-done clones.

Bought my first computer to do the work – a Mac the year it first came out – and eventually used it to land in graphic design/desktop publishing and digital prepress. Lorem Ipsum are the first two words of pseudo-Latin used in typography to make early layout mockups when the actual text is not yet ready.

Aww, ebeeee, the overlords only rebooted me with three loves to spread this morning. I’m out already, what’s with that?!? You’re first on my list when I’m reloaded (honest I have a written list ).

I LOVED Space Invaders! Played it constantly in college. Spent a lot of quarters on it!

Now my guilty pleasure is Solipskier. Google it if you want to try it. You use the mouse to draw the ski hill for the little guy. You can make him jump very high for extra points. It’s hard at first, but once you get the hang of it, it’s a blast.
