Wow, thank you for pushing me over the top, poetgrl! I’m a glorious beacon of light, though I’m really not worthy to be in the same league as ML (but I do appreciate the green love).

When I was pregnant with my oldest, I played super mario brothers relentlessly. I also ate a pint (back when a pint was still a pint) of Haagen Daz coffee ice cream every day. This actually explains quite a bit about her, in fact. ;)

Have spread what love I had to give, will be back when I am rebooted later on.

I’ve got you penciled in for my 11:30 tonight batch, 12rmh18. Can’t do it any sooner due to the “spread your love around” rule.

I love coffee ice cream, poetgirl. Haven’t had any in quite some time, but now that you’ve mentioned it… Calories are on you!

When my kids were little I was the mean mom who would only let them use their Gameboys on weekends. But I was secretly using their devices to play Tetris 24/7.

poetgrl - Are you my doppelganger? That would be crazy but my first was a boy! This was 1990.

neuro - My kids were also only allowed to have gboys on the weekends, but I didn’t play them. :)

Funny you should mention Tetris. My son had to program Tetris for his computer science class last month. Just goes to show how far computers have come.

I hope he added the catchy Russian soundtrack - I will never get that out of my head.

Forever grateful to jym for my BIG boost, waiting for one little point.

Wow! You go out into the real world for a day and miss all the fun! I was recharged and spread the love where I could, some are still on the “spread it around first” list.

I was a pinball, space invaders, missle command girl. I actually lost a BF over pinball because he thought he was the wizard, but found out I was!
I wasn’t one to lose for a guy, which was a good weed out strategy as it turns out!

Enjoy 12/12/12. Love the numbered dates like that! It’s the geek in me, I guess (or is that nerd?)

DS2 is taking behind the wheel this week, so watch out VA drivers! Actually, he’s pretty good, so I’m not too worried.

I’m only 23 points away from a lovely green square if anyone wants to spread the love!

^ Thanks for the warning. I believe I’m far enough west of your general area, lol! Good luck to S2, I’m sure he’ll do fine. It is nice having that additional driver in the house again after you’ve had one and then they launch.

Welcome to the “much to be proud of” family, LoremIpsum!! We have a ways to go to having a brilliant future, though… :(

^^He’s actually a good driver! It will be nice to have him driving since S1 left. He’s had to wait for driver’s ed since they didn’t offer it first semester and he could have gotten his license a month ago if he could have done driver ed first semester. So now he has to wait until end of the quarter at the end of January (just when the weather is so lovely) to get his license!

Thank you, jym. No worries… the journey of a thousand points begins with but a single click-through. If any of us wants a moment of perspective on how far we’ve come, just visit a chance thread where practically everyone on the page is a one-box.

I noticed your earlier discussion on health issues. I’ve thus far kept this out of our discussions, but I have a fairly severe case of rheumatoid arthritis (can’t straighten the fingers on my right hand anymore, among other things). Maybe this would be the forum to get advice?

(In the manner of Rudolf taking his first flight after talking to Clarice the girl reindeer):

I’m nice, I’m nice, I’m nniiiiiicccccceeeee :D

This has turned into the weirdest thread. Weird, but in a good way :)

CD–you had the magic number of points for me–Thanks!

I am out of points to share
This is a fun distraction from all the stress of the holidays. It’s also a great way to connect with great CCers from other threads!!!

Calling out on behalf of LoremIpsum-
Are there any rheumatologists in the house?

nysmile, I agree funny weird thread. Thank you for spelling weird right so tired of seeing wierd. On that note, there is much spelling of receive as recieve both on CC and Facebook. I always think of the old saying “i before e except after c”. It is easy to make mistakes when posting but I see these so much!

Thanks to everyone who has given me points and the fun, sweet comments. Leaving and getting quick comments is really the best part.

Lorem - have been racking my brain and couldn’t think of any connection for rheumatologists, official or otherwise - sorry.

Then had to do a grammar search to find out if it’s “racking” or “wracking” - sadly, “racking” is correct, although I do appreciate the reference to medieval torture…

When pregnant, I was horribly desperately addicted to…

… wait for it …

Minesweeper.

In lieu of flowers, small green boxes can be donated by clicking on scales to the left.

Imagine you have some chocolate bars which are 55% Cocoa and Some other chocolate bars that are 25% cocoa.?
If you melt them down and mix them together and end up with chocolate that is 49% cocoa , how many of each bar was used?

Can someone please help me with this math problem!

(455) + (125) / 5 = 49

I prefer Nutella. Easier to spread.

PS If you want to know how to solve those types of puzzles, here is what my paper looked like after ten seconds

55 - 49 => 6
49 - 25 -> 24

24/6 = 4/1 :)
