<p>I believe it’s the highest on anyone’s list of ruins, at 8000 feet. 
The bigger difficulty is flying into the nearby old colonial city of Cuzco, which is situated at over 11,000 feet. Walking up even a small hill was hard work, and the first night’s sleep was quite restless. But definitely worth it!</p>
