I have checked my list twice and I don’t see anyone who is shy of their full allotment of green boxes (other than griffen to whom I can’t give today), but quite a few still working their way toward the magic 2,000. I’ll do what I can here to keep pushing the rest of you on toward your goal.

Thanks to several nice folks, including niceday, who tipped me into the next increment, I think I may be up to giving 70 pts!! But alas, its back to saying I have no more ammo in the greenie launcher for now :(

I have decided that it is not a game and that if I get one more box, I will truly be a splendid one to behold. Even though my hair is a mess and I am wearing my old pink robe, I will have proof to show my H. Yeah, he was skeptical about the spectacular aura, but I think this time I’ll be able to convince him.

Okay, swimkidsdad, I’ve sent some your way.

I cannot give anymore! I gave some today to busdriver for the kind offer in the thread about the kid stuck in Denver.

I will give more tomorrow when I am recharged!

Well, dowzerw, that depends on how you look at it. If we multiply the wealth rapidly, we each have a greater impact on those oblivious to the system but occasionally helpful to others. Is it not worthy to give first to those who consistently give to others? For every 100 points you raise a fellow poster’s green squares total, that person has 10 more points per day to give out, each and every day. Why pile points on someone who doesn’t use his allotment in the rewarding of others?

Speaking of points, a lone 2 points from someone will allow me to give another one to each of you ten times a day.

Gave you some, LI.

Thanks, Onward – and Psychmom. Went well beyond the 2 points I needed; maybe I should have kept quiet?

My refreshes keep slipping later into the night – between 2 and 3 am. Maybe I’ll just wait until morning this time – although delivering presents in the middle of the night is consistent with the spirit of the season. ;)

I have returned! Thanks for the greenies, everyone! Three squares look wonderfully robust compared to my previous lonesome square. Maybe I’ll make it to the light squares for Christmas (hint hint)…

Gave to studious, Jym, psych mom and others. For others still get the message to spread greenies before I can give again.

Marching toward 2000 points!

Up early and reached out and touched Studious Maximus and Mtnest. I feel like I am really getting to know everyone.

I’ve been sending out some greenies but haven’t posted much so I didn’t know that my own greenies had increased as much as they had. I’m up to 5 now! I know that’s peanuts compared to you guys, but it was a nice surprise. Thanks to those of you who sent them to me :).

Face it, we’re like kids in a candy shop. At least we’re sharing. :)

And I was able to only help one person before the gods said enough. :(

Delivering Christmas green to who I can!
Was out of town the past few days so catching up now!

I repped people who left comments for me. Sorry if I missed anyone - I wish more than five events showed up on the control panel.

Thanks to those who got me to 4 greenies!

Is this some type of game?

Before this thread, the “magic 2000” on CC referred to combined SAT score :)

LOL! You guys are pushing me higher and higher!! Can’t wait to see what wallop of a punch I pack when I am able to re-greenie today.

Merry Christmas, everyone!

I repped psychmom, patsmom, churchmusicmom, StudiousMax, MaineLong, my3gr8, and sax (to a 5th green square :D).

Regarding the “misuse” of the greenies, I’m not so sure it’s a problem. I have seen many posters here playing the game who I wasn’t aware of before, but now that I know them, I notice their posts in the wild, and for the most part, find them helpful and useful, although I might not agree. For some reason, not speaking for myself (although of course I don’t post with the intent of being un-helpful!), it seems that our game appeals to posters who are involved in the board and invest in it. So, perhaps it’s not the intended method of reaching high rep levels, but the result seems to have worked out. I would argue that there are very, very few (I am not aware of any) high-rep-level people who wouldn’t have earned that position anyway in a relatively short period of time.
