I think it’s just a habit for most of us to report test scores. It seems like many schools are trending towards encouraging test scores again and even mandating them. Time will tell……

Hi all, anyone else planning on going up for Admitted Student Day on April 3rd?
Yes. It will be a daddy/daughter roadtrip at our house. They’re visiting RIT, RPI. and ending at WPI on the 3rd. Daughter is interested in mechanical/aerospace.

Hi, we weren’t able to get there last week, so we’re going on the 10th. How did the visit go? (other than the weather! ;o).
Has anyone gotten their finalized financial aid letter? My kid wants to commit but I want to make sure there are no changes first!

Ours still says “estimated” although it does show they’ve received the FAFSA…
I was told directly from admissions on accepted students day that the class of 2027 is 85% male to 15% female. They anticipate 2028s graduating class to be the same. I have heard that the previous president had made an effort to recruit more woman through increased merit. There is more a balance with the current junior and senior class.
The common data set says its 70/30 for class of 2027.
