My BC teacher refuses to tell us what we should be doing this week… though we have a quiz friday.
And he collected a mess of hw before thanksgiving but gave it all back because it was too much to grade. So no hw grade for this quarter for the mo’. charming man.

My best guess is we’re on average interval dcuygoihn. Something called something like that.

Hahaha, I am taking Stats instead of Calc. I’m so much less academic than almost everyone else applying, and yet I’m still incredibly confident.

EDIT: Meaning my logic disconnects somewhere along the line.

^ No worries. My emotions are fluctuating between self-depricating (“Why are you even trying you stupid, stupid girl?”) and overly optimistic (“CC is crazy, don’t look at these scores, you’re a good person, maybe…”)

We have mutual friends applying early to Brown/Stanford/etc. They’ve started liking the posts. The only thing keeping me going is finding creative ways to count.
Example:
“23. Like that really bad movie with Jim Carrey.”

Block scheduling makes so much sense! Though they’ve changed the schedule every year and i’ll have a teacher each year that will spend a class period telling us how much they like it, we’ve never had it while ive been there.

We did parametric and polar equations last year an haven’t touched them at all this year. That’s funny. We’ve been jumping around in our book and a friend who had the class last year looked at what we were doing and said they didn’t do it until February. I don’t know what my teachers trying this year, but I love the class lucyloves- I would hate to have no hw grade. Our teacher pretty much just trusts that we do it and gives us points each day.

I haven’t taken that many AP’s. I blame the terrible scheduling issues, mostly, but I’m also the yearbook editor so that takes up a required two classes each year. Im pretty sure I’ll graduate with 10. Possibly 11, though.

^I don’t either. At least SCEA. I have a few applying regular. I’m counting down with ones applying early elsewhere, even though I think I’m the only one who will actually find out the 15th. They’re all close though. :)

I just have a friend who applied SCEA Stanford, as noone else did so. Most of my other early applying friends find out near the same time as me though, like ninja.

Yeah. I couldn’t stand not checking emails, though. So I’d probably already know by the time the tube came around.

The way Yale does it, though, the Bulldog just jumps in your face! I’ll have a heart attack if it happens. And I’m pretty sure my school counselor will also have a heart attack (if I get accepted).
:P

This thread grew by 5 pages while I was sleeping!
I’m going to wake up at 4 am to view my decision. If I ever manage to be able to sleep.
You guys are so lucky you can choose different courses every year. We have to choose 5 classes in the 11th and stick with them till we graduate. Plus, they have to be from the same stream. (I can’t for example, study bio or chem cause I have political science. Different streams) On the plus side though, we go into quite a lot of detail I guess. Math this year is HARD.

^^
I’m not going to lie, that sounds really cool. I see a benefit to what we do (with all the options and academic/intellectual exploration), but your way makes me think of Harry Potter for some reason. Which is awesome.

Three cheers for Defense Against the Dark Arts and Care of Magical Creatures??
