D’s Ivy result was interesting … how the three schools she liked the best during the college tour last summer, accepted [Yale(#1), UPenn(#2), Cornell(#3) ]. The schools she didn’t like much during the tour, rejected [Princeton, Harvard]. The school she didn’t tour, waitlisted [Columbia]. Her preference was vey clear during the visits and it somehow showed in the result – thought it was interesting.
I GOT ACCEPTED when I found out I was so happy and surprised, especially after being rejected by Stanford and waitlisted by four schools this is amazing

It was the only “top notch” school I applied to.
Now I have to choose between Yale and a 6yr BSMD program.

Really? I had applied to the BSMD and Yale to prove my principal wrong that I may have a chance… I never expected to get in.
This decision literally changes my life. :-/
I started crying when I found out I got into Yale, because I never expected it. So blessed.
