I believe interviews are also generally considered a good sign :slight_smile:

Okay so about a month ago I received a request for an additional letter of rec from Yale. And then today another request regarding it because of some miscommunication with it being sent. Is it a good sign that even though decisions are next week, she is still reaching out to ensure we work out this letter of recommendation? In the email it says how decisions are released this week and it is needed as soon as possible, and I am just very uneasy about it as of now.

So originally I submitted two, and they asked for one more core teacher so I sent that but the officer said some miscommunication occurred on her end and reached out yesterday regarding the rec letter so my teacher resent it yesterday. I was just confused because I thought the matter had been resolved with the first email but it hadn’t and I was just even more confused with her reaching out and stuff you know since decisions are a week away! I also did get an interview shortly after that first rec letter request and I feel like it went well. Also to clarify both emails were over a month apart with the first being first week of February and second being just this week.

This happens to all. The changing order of items in the financial aid checklist is likely just a function of Yale’s system updating or reordering entries automatically - it doesn’t necessarily indicate that someone is actively reviewing the application at that moment.

oh sorry. They emailed my reccomenders to verify they wrote my letter of recommendation and my counselor to verify her letter of rec and my extracurriculars.
