Of course there are others, but its pretty safe to say that no interview significantly tanks your chances, unless you know you were one of these/you had a circumstance. For example, I sent the office an update saying I was in India for a family emerggency, and so an interview was not possible for me.

Yeah most of them. There is still a group that wasn’t chosen for likely letters but was able to be admitted without an interview.
