3 ppl I know that got into yale early all got interviewed
No interview either. No likely letter from Yale or any Ivy. Thursday should be interesting.
Ur fine. They only interview borderline people. If youre not interviewed, they know their decision
Also - my friend didnāt get one and heās a 2 gen legacy.
The discussion about interviews should have ran its course a while ago. I understand thereās some anxiety with decisions in 2 days, but just keep tight. Your decision has already been made, and thereās no point in stressing yourself or anyone else out. Good luck everyone!

so most ppl who arent interviewed are prob athletes, legacies, geniuses or unique background ?
No genius is not incl, my classmate who got Yale in 2023 took calc bc as an 8th grader, went to RSI etc, he had an interview. I feel like no interview, ur chances are over. Expect a rejection if youre not hooked

Yes, clearly there is smth they saw so they interviewed those people, just move on. We didnāt get in as we didnāt pass the first stage.

Fact is, unless you are a recruited athlete or the kid of a big donor, or winner of some nationally recognized contest, you should never expect to get in to any school with an admissions rate of less than 10%. There are going to be thousands, tens of thousands of super qualified applicants. Everyone should shoot their shot(s), but have affordable safeties/matches in your back pocket that you would be happy to attend. Getting into a reach is just the cherry on top.

About 9% of applicants get in w/o an interview. Most are legacy/athlete.
and the ones who arent legacy/athlete? are they like elite?
