<p>I told my debate teacher I was “Asian-failing” physics because I have a B. She got so mad at me, which is understandable since she teaches oceanography (the course for kids who don’t even get into regular chem after bio).</p>

<p>hey all, I’ve been watching the posts for a while now and finally decided that I have to join and commiserate with you. I’m from the largest 3 grade high school in ohio where the only students ever accepted to an ivy league school were athletes. So I’m freaking out right about how.</p>

<p>I’m freaking out because I’m a homeschooler and my transcript is SO non-traditional and I didn’t do a lot of things that pretty much every other applicant to Yale did. :-/</p>

<p>heh, it actually made me feel worse about my transcript, and my smattering of B+'s.</p>
<p>Well, yeah, that’s bad. I have several B+s too. But still! Not everyone who gets accepted is an Intel finalist. Yay!</p>

<p>i have like a 4.0 and a 4.65 weighted… so far straight As</p>

<p>however, a GPA is really nothing… if you get into Yale, which we probably are all capable of, there are much more intriguing things to discuss… :p</p>
