Fang, you’re assuming someone who actually wants to render aid. Seeing as how Mr. Gray’s spine was severely and fatally injured while in their custody, I’m guessing that rendering aid was not at the top of the cops’ priority list at that point.
This happened a week and a half ago, when the South Carolina situation was all over the news. All cops everywhere were on notice that civilian cell phones could be devastating to their made-up stories about the so-called necessity of killing so-called violent perps. And yet this happened in Baltimore. Is the culture of abuse and brutality so ingrained in American police that they simply can’t help themselves?
