You Know You're a Pretentious Snob If...

I personally like pretentious people and feel one needs to be somewhat of a pretentious snob to set high goals. Anyways, I’ll start:

You know you’re a pretentious snob if…

You call something “trite”

Who’s got #2?

2) You have a fake laugh

For you, the HS grading system goes as follows:
A+ excellent
A good
A- average
<B fail

You’re always on CC posting about your less-than-amazing 2400 SAT score.

If you think you’re simply “better” than most people.

If you dominate the discussion (in any social setting) with details about yourself.

I’m pretty much guilty of all charges.

^ Uhh…

8.) If your under 5’5"

^^^LOL. That is hilarious.

9) You secretly judge people who want to go into blue-collar or similar work, even if they will make more as an electrician than you will sitting at a desk in a cubicle.

10) You post on College Confidential

11) if you think you deserve an undeserved favor.

12) You don’t comment on my photos on facebook when I ask you to, or don’t visit my blog. :D

13) you think you’re smart by CC standards.

“If your under 5’5"”

I don’t get it… :/

^I’m guilty of that one too. Short people have to impress others with their attitudes, since the size obviously won’t do the trick.

Okay, I get it now.

I thought he may have been suggesting that Asians are pretentious. Ha ha.

Agreed x 10. I think that fulfills the definition of the term.

^I mention that because I used to feel that way in Middle School for some reason, and then I got over it. For real. We had yard work done (taking out a tree), and the person went to Harvard and runs a cookie business on the side. I felt like a jerk after I found that out.

My 9th grade history teacher was a Harvard grad. When I found out, I asked him why he was teaching at a crappy public…lol
I don’t feel that way anymore, though. I definitely respect professionals of all fields, no matter where they went to college.

14) You type in “if your under 5’5"” and don’t bother to fix your typo because you’re too good for editing :]
