ok - it’s the 19th! Anyone hear of any calls yet or know when calls usually start?

I know, my anxiety is through the roof. I tried to email them and ask, but they responded, “Calls will begin this week. Thank you for your patience.” It is so frustrating because it was on the same thread as when they told me calls would start today, so are they starting today or “this week” is my question, but they are sooooo vague. If anyone gets a call, please let us know!!

Does anyone know if they email first then follow up with a call? I haven’t gotten anything yet fingers crossed though!

If you are a winner with distinction, they would call first. Otherwise, the regular winners have to wait for the list to be published on Monday

The call lasted around 10 minutes! It started off with her telling me I had won, and then she kind of ran through a bunch of the logistics of how YoungArts week in Miami would work. If i’m being honest I don’t remember a lot of it because I was in so much shock LMAO

So we’re going into day 2 … Youngarts always claims they call over several days, but most years these threads go quiet after day 1. Does anyone have first hand knowledge of someone in the past getting a call after the first day?

I don’t know anyone personally, but I’ve seen many people say they got their call on a later day. This year especially, they seem to be running behind (I called and asked yesterday), so I think the timeline is true. The woman on the phone told me that, in the worst-case scenario, they might not even get to call everyone before the list comes out. So, I believe there are truly many more calls to be made for the rest of the week.
