Just called YoungArts. They said calls are at random down an alphabetical list throughout all categories. Calls will go thru Friday evening. I hope this helps everyone with their nerves. Good luck to you all.

Hope that doesn’t mean that someone with the last name starting with a Z has to potentially wait longer.

Hmm. I am surprised it takes days to phone everyone even with callbacks. How many Winners with Distinction are there in total?
I don’t know why I was thinking around 30 but now I realize I don’t really know why I have that number in my brain.
Perhaps someone else knows the correct number of Winners with Distinction and Winners.

last year there were about 150…so its a lot. i emailed them now (won’t get a reply till tmrw) but i’m like 90% sure that no calls went out today because we would have definitely heard of at least 1 of them via reddit/here, etc.

someone said that their friend got called this morning. but yeah, other than that, there rly hasn’t been any info on any calls today, very surprising. there’s only two more days of calls left, so ig the majority of them are happening tmr/fri?

looks like it…also from a call on another post earlier, they actyally might not have even finished all the calls before they are announced on 25th aha

No, they have told various people (including myself) on the phone that it will go through Friday evening and that they are behind. Don’t get discouraged guys!
The way I checked kaleidoscope and it said I never submitted my applicant section (which includes your catagory) 
I sent in my work and everything except that. Good luck to everyone!
