Thanks for the info, arling! I just ordered a NorthFace coat that I’d been wanting but didn’t want to pay full price for…it was about $100 cheaper, no tax and free shipping! Doubt that I’ll get any use out of it until next season, but I know I will be happy next winter! :)

Sears, of all places, has several discontinued colors of Dockers Soft Khaki’s on sale for $14.99.

These are weekend casual khakis. Wrinkles and all out of the dryer. Very soft. Incredibly comfortable. They are regular fit, but maybe with just a tad more modern taper in the leg. By far my favorite knock around casual pant - slightly dressier alternative to jeans.

[Sears: Online department store featuring appliances, tools, fitness equipment and more](http://www.sears.com/shc/s/p_10153_12605_041L0370000P?prdNo=1&blockNo=1&blockType=G1)

They can be ordered in all inseam lengths from 29 inches on up.

Retailmenot.com has a 25% off coupon code which is good even on sale merchandise at drjays.com. I saw a lot of North Face cold weather jackets in the men’s sale section which already had nice discounts.

Gap is offering 20% cash back today on ebates dot com. I plan to bundle that with their 30% off friends and family sale.

gets coat on

Holy crap! You win.

Thanks- My D1 just reminded me of another great bargain from a a while ago.
We were shopping for homecoming dresses at Nordstrom’s, D1 was trying on dresses and a customer returned a dress similar to the ones she was trying on. The saleslady brought it into the dressing room. D1 tried it on and it fit perfectly. When I asked how much she said $10!! Sold. I asked why it was so cheap and she said it was from the previous year and they could no longer put it the sales floor. The dress still had the tags on, it was originally $230.

Congrats–wow $10 for a nice dress! That’s really amazing and a better deal than you could get in many thrift shops!

Just saw in the Itunes store–for a limited time, all seasons of The Wire for $12.99 a season.

Just bought some new Saucony running shoes on Rue La La. Not a huge great deal (about 50% off) but I also had a small credit on my account too, so that helped. I tried on these shoes when I got some other ones in Dec, and couldn’t decide between the two, so now I will have both. Maybe now I wil get back into exercising.

J. Crew mens’ navy blazer/sportcoat for $2 at local thrift. Was going to buy it for $20, but the nice ladies at the register decided it should be part of their coat clearance.

^^^^ Wow! That’s an incredible deal – they were practically paying you to take it!

Update
Bummer. Rue La La shipped the wrong shoes, so back they go. They were a final sale item, and the cusomer service “concierge” first tried to say I coudlnt returnt hem, but when he checked with his supervisor and discovered “misships” are returnable, he sent me the label and gave me a $20 account credit for my inconvenience (I have to take the shoes to a UPS place to drop off). Bigger bummer is there are no more of the shoes I wanted :frowning: . They were a great price!
