I had no idea you could do that. What a great idea!!
Got my Kohlâs bill today: Bought a box of Starbucks Keurig K cup coffee thingys and a watch. Total bill: $6.26. How a propos!
Found two spring tops with the âsharkbiteâ hem at Goodwill yesterday. Only problem was that they were black and gray-no color. Got them both for only $9 and looked up the brand-âFresh Produceâ when I got home to see about getting one in a pretty spring color. Alas-they go for $40±-NOT a âgood buyâ. Will have to hope the original owner got tired of some pastel ones too.
sseamom. Fresh Produce is a very good brand. I visited one of their stores in Palm DessertâŠlovley clothes. Throw a hot pink or aqua short scarf on with them and you will be good to go. At least their material has some weight and is not usually see through.
H responded to a Verizon call that I would have ignored and gained a $40 a month discount just by talking.
Picked up some lightweight merino wool hiking socks for $6/pair, and a couple of Henley shirts for $12 (75% off!) on steepandcheap.com .
Bought a case of paper at OfficeDepotânet price $20 for 10 reams of white paper!
Sseamom - check RueLaLa. FP is a featured boutique today and tomorrow.
Someone dumped a brand new pair of gorgeous Saint Laurent shoes on RealReal. With my store credit and discount, I got them for 25% of what they normally sell for. And these shoes never-ever go on sale! Summer, where are you?!
I find Fresh Produce at my TJ Maxx.
Bloomieâs FF sale is on.
Well, this should be a BAD deal of the day. Stopped by Kohlâs because I had a 30% off coupon and their keurig kcups were on sale. Well apparently as of January, so they claim, consumables (and Nike products) are no longer included int he % off deals. Can only use Kohls cash for them. I tole them thanks but no thanks-- and left the kcups.
I got a 30% off at Kohls too. Couldnât find one thing to buyâŠnot a thing.
Thereâs a whole thread on the change on Kohlâs policy. It has slashed my spending there. Now I only shop there for clearance items for which I can use the 30% off.
I never liked all the gimmicks at Kohlâs, just put things on sale. Bobâs clothing stores have big coupons too with so many exclusions written on them, I just pass. I used to hear in line so many, âOh those sneakers are not included, No Columbia, etcâ.
Iâve been doing well in TJMaxx and saw things lower than Costco (which I wont renew) Pans, cheater glasses, clothes, all less and I felt better quality.
Always looking for a great bargain but donât want to jump through hoops to get it.
Everytime I buy anything at Kohlâs I seem to return it, except for lingerie. I just stopped going in at all as I can order the same from Amazon.
I also do not shop Macyâs. It ends up being a waste of time.
Our local Marshallâs had closed but I just found one that is not that far away. I think they top TJMaxx which I do like.
Thier jewlery is great.
Now I am bummed with costco as thge sales associate yesterday told me (though it wasnât 100% for sure) that when they discontinue their relationship with AmEx next March they will cancel the credit card. Why? ANd then they want us to get one of their visa cards. I dont need another cr card, but I wanted to keep that AmEx
Our TJMaxx is a combo TjMaxx/Homegoods so larger than most and I have Marshallâs across the street from it, so doubly happy. My daughter found a nice leather purse for 19.00 on clearance (Italian brand, forgot name) and 2 pairs on sunglasses for under 20.00. It is hit and miss but I found a lot of hits this past year.
I used a GC at Kohlâs for a bra since that is the only clothing I usually end up liking.
I second the jewelery comment, my hubby has found such lovely pieces for me there, always get lots of compliments and when I say TJMaxx/Marshallâs, there are some confused expressions at times.
I suspect AmEx will offer for you to remain an AmEx cardholder, but the card will no longer be cobranded with Costco and no longer accepted there. Believe ANY Visa will be accepted at Costco after the 4/2016 change, but if you use the Costco AmEx, it will have Costco features like those on its AmEx card. Time will tell.
I think HImom meant that the Costco Visa might have the same features as the current Costco Amex.
We donât have a Costco within an hour of hereâŠso itâs not an issue for us?
