Kohl’s sent me an $18 gift card for my 18th year card anniversary and gave me a 30% off saving card. I went shopping thinking I could get a pair of heels for my son’s graduation next week. You would think it wouldn’t be that hard to find a pair of pumps that were nice but they had ONE pair that was the wrong color. The rest of the heels were stilettos or sandals. Their shoe buyer is not a good one! But I did find some tops that I really liked and a pair of white pants that fit. It seems they no longer carry dockers for women but chaps had a similar fit. I can’t find my receipt so I can detail my good buys but I got 8 items for just over $100 so not too bad a trip!
If the one pair fit, you might be able to order a different color online. If you order from their kiosk in the store, shipping to your home is free. But wow, good deal!
Got lots of good deals yesterday-- went on a bit of a shopping blitz to try to finish getting a dress, shoes, a top, accessories, etc to pull together outfits for s’s upcoming wedding. Got home, and then got an email from s’s future MIL (she is a doll) that the plans for what they were wearing to Fri night dinner and sunday brunch have changed!! Back to the drawing board. Hrumph! I only got an $11 gift card from Kohls. I’ll go there tomorrow and find something. But I’m not falling into their trap of getting a gift card, and spending $100. Nope. I’ll be looking for cheap stuff.

Hmmm. I didn’t get one either. But I’m totally off Kohl’s for now. Was searching for a crib to have when grand kids come to visit. Found one on Amazon that I thought was reasonable. Did a Google shopping search for it and it said that Kohl’s had it for about $150 with no shipping. But when you go to the site, not only do they not allow you to use the 30% coupon but they charge $55 for shipping. Don’t think so. False advertising is the worst.
I am calling now to see why I didnt get it. He said it was a “random selection” but confirmed I have had a card since 2004!! I am on hold to see if I can get any kind of courtesy credit on my account, since I am hurt that as a longtime cardholder I did not get a coupon/credit thing. Doubt it will do any good. He claims he is asking a supervisor…
Wow, if they truly did it randomly that seems like a bad idea! Word spreads and they are going to get pummeled with calls!! I did not get one either. Should I put my angry face on???

No surprise- the customer service and manager in south america told me to go pound sand (in not so many words). They claimed it was a store promotion and people were randomly selected. They have just lost a customer over a few dollars. Tata Kohls.

I haven’t been to my Kohl’s for months and this promotion did tip me over the edge. I don’t wear heels as a rule, but the two pair that I have came from there are actually wearable for hours and hours so, silly me, thought I could find another pair in a different color. I got these shoes from Amazon: http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00BXBBJMS/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o00_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1 but the toe is tight while my heel pops out! The color is perfect. I’m trying to see if I can maybe get them stretched and an insert for the heel to make that tighter. Any other ideas?
I emailed Kohl’s customer service, and got a generic “we’ll get back to you in 48 hrs” response. I didn’t have the correct name of the promotion when I emailed them so I am not sure if that will matter. Ig they want to lose a customer over $11, thats pretty bad marketing.
