Macy’s has an online tool that helps you determine your size. It asks you to enter height, weight, bra size, a brand of dress and size you like which fits you and then let’s you know what size they recommend in the dress you’re considering. They also let you order and try hold the dress at the store if you prefer.
I found 5 dresses I like fairly well and may try some of them on. The dress I bought the other day seems to be low quality fabric that develops shiny white spots on it from no apparent cause, even before being used or laundered. I’m sadly returning it–cute but I prefer timeless clothes that continue to look good until I tire of them.
Thats the code on my other flyer I got (the standard one with the thing you peel off to reveal the discount). Was going to stop by there before a dinner get together tonight, but now I will go to TJ MAx or Steinmart instead
Just bought Sorel boots for $20 ($28 including shipping and tax) on STP!
They are having a clearance so the shoes were $30 and my friend sent me a $10 coupon.
Would anyone like me to email the $10 off? (They are doing a send $10 get $10 thing, I think. You must create a new account though)
OK, due to all of you here, I did place the order for the 5 dresses. Total cost for all of them to be delivered here (free shipping) was just over $300. I will probably keep one or perhaps two and return the rest to Macy’s for refunds. Cost per dress ranged from about $51 to $80, but no gas prices to drive over and try on the dresses. Will have to go and return them all, but can do that when doing other errands. Best of all, don’t had to dig through the racks!
Happy with my 6pm purchases that arrived today - a North Face “Better Than Naked” running tee for 60% off and a Life Is Good sundress that I can actually wear a regular bra with (!) for 60% off (http://www.6pm.com/life-is-good-crossover-sun-dress-gray-tile-floral) - and both fit great!!!
Kohl’s customer service (on line) blew me off, saying it was a “limited distribution while supplies lasted”, BUT, before I got the “no way” email from Kohl’s , I went by the store and talked to a customer service person there. I told her what I was told over the phone (that this was a store promotion, so I should go to the store, which I knew was baloney). She told me to go get something that I wouldn’t plan to return and she could give me the $11 credit. So I got something I could use that was about $25. With the credit and then the 30% discount, it cost $10. I will do the online survey and give her greta feedback. Bit I will still probably never go to Kohl’s again.
I was gifted a Kindle last year and almost exchanged it for a tablet. But I kept it and like the lighting and having a book only device after all. Now I am thinking of grabbing the HD7. It is only 8 GB and the operating system takes half of that so I would take the 16GB option for and extra $20. I have been able to use someone’s ipad for a bit and love tablet but I suppose this will compare badly to it. Still it is super bargain in general and now this added incentive.
BrownParent- my daughter told me (just her opinion) that while she really likes the Fire, it is just ok as a reading device and that she would rather have a dedicated reading device. Something to do with the readability of the image. I ended up giving her my old Nook.
