Your Good Buy Of The Day (Part 1)

@jym626 Will check Corso’s out. Thanks.

Maybe you MUST keep both purses!

Just got a pair of Born clogs for $20 on Ebay. I’ve lost enough weight that none of my shoes fit and really can’t afford to spend $100 or more each on multiple pairs of shoes. I found “my” pair in my new size on Ebay for $27, and it had a “make offer” button, so I made an offer for $20 and she accepted. They look new, or close to it. I should put all of MY shoes up there and recoup some of a what I spent for them!

I haven’t read a downside of keeping both purses. Finding a purse you love is a challenge. Sounds like false economy to return a purse you love. You and your D could swap purses after a while if you chose and have new looks :wink:

It was no bargain, but I was walked mg around the mall with my g/f, the black belt in fashion. We were talking about my liking of purses with fringes. We had walked into 5 stores, then into Ralph Lauren, and there it was. So, we checked out Kate spade, Bloomies, Michael Coors, etc., and I went back and splurged.

Finding the right item, even at full price can be cheaper than buying a lot of “not quite right” items at great prices. Congrats and enjoy your find!

In desperate need of comfortable walking shoes for my tired feet.
Easy Spirit online is giving $15 off their walking shoes.
I registered to get on their email list to get an extra 25% off my entire purchase.
Shipping is free for a minimum $50 purchase.
Got three pairs for $60.
(off course I don’t plan to keep all three but didn’t want to pay for shipping)
Hoping at least one pair fits.

Three pairs of shoes for $60 is a steal!!!

Will you have to pay shipping on the returned shoes?

@jym626 No, I will return them at the store near my home.

I’m looking into the Easy Spirit walking shoes as well. Does anyone know if their sizes run big or small? I am a true size 9 but in some brands have to go with a 9.5.

Kate Spade is haivng a big sale today. My Daughter got one purse for 75% off the other for about 60% off.

DH has wanted a microsoft fitness band. Best buy has them on sale for 99 instead of 199.

@yellowgranite56
I have never ordered shoes online before. Easy Spirit shoes come in narrow, medium, wide, extra wide.
If you have a macys store near you they may have some Easy Spirit shoes you can try on to see which size would fit you best.
@mamom
The Kate Spade sale is a final sale so I assume no returns.

Amazon Prime is reducing the cost of a new membership, but you’ll only have one day to sign up.

The retail giant announced on Tuesday that it’s trimming the cost of Amazon Prime to $67 for one year from the usual $99. The one-day price cut will start Friday, September 25 at 12:00 a.m. ET and end at 11:59 p.m. PT. The deal is good only for new customers to try out Prime (sorry, all you existing Prime members) and will available at the Amazon Prime sign-up page.

Ack!!! Ours renewed TODAY! Already on my credit card!

Sounds like it wouldn’t have mattered since you area an existing member @jym626!

Why $67?! Funny amount…1/3 off???

Just booked a conference trip to Denver! Early bird conference fee of $199 as opposed to $399, and a nonstop flight for a total of $238 with taxes and everything! Bargain!!! My workplace will be happy!

yellow-I have worn many Easy Spirit shoes and they fit true to size on length, but I can usually wear “medum” or what would be “regular” even with my wide feet. D has narrow feet and they fit her perfectly in the narrow. The wide are for REALLY wide feet. Also, try Merrell, Born or Softwalk for walking-I have had good luck with all three. My shoe requirements are, “Must be comfortable all day, even when walking”.

I’m about to put some of all the above brands on Ebay, as I have lost weight and none of my shoes fit anymore (see earlier post). If anyone is interested in “like new” size 7’s for wide-ish feet, let me know and we can work something out.

It has to do with the Transparent (an Amazon Prime show) winning Emmys at the 67th Annual Emmy Awards

A year ago D talked me into buying a Kate Spade purse. I saw it in a store when she and I were out shopping and said, “That is just an incredibly gorgeous color!” And she talked me into the impulse buy. Since then, for a few weeks here and there, I carried another bag, but in the end, I went back to this one (and I have another nice bags) because absolutely every where I go, I get so many compliments on how beautiful the color is. So if any of you are looking on the Kate Spade website and see a coral blue piece that you think you’d like, get it!
