Your Good Buy Of The Day (Part 1)

Yes my sis bought me the early checkin when I last visited, so nice to board first and get choice of sweat.

^Or choice of seat!

Everyone beat me to it, bgbg4us. Southwest doesn’t assign seats. You have to cue up in a preassigned order based on the letter/number you get. I recently flew on southwest and did not pay for the earlybird checkin. I checked i IMMEDIATELY at 24 hrs prior to my flight and got something like B 19. I was still able to get a window (I usually take aisle and plan to go back to that). The person who sat next to me in the center seat was significantly overweight (and very inconsiderate about his overuse of space) dirty, smelly, and had long hair (very unwashed) down to his waist that spilled all over me when he decided to put his head on his tray table. So I offered him a hairband. He grunted, tied his hair up, put his head back on the tray table and then his dirty his ponytail was all over me.Ugh. And , I am left handed and couldn’t even do a xword or soduku puzzle. That was a VERY long flight. Wont make that mistake again. WIll select an aisle seat that allows me to put my arm into the aisle, or will consider a window on the left side of the plane. Probably the former, so I wont feel trapped if that happens again. It was truly disgusting. I was miserable. And it was a 4 hr flight!

Ewe! I’d ask attendant about options.

Farfetch is now offering free shipping on clearance items, too - 2-3 days from Europe, that’s pretty good. Lots of higher end stuff got reasonably discounted. Could not resists and got a pair of loafers.

Nordstrom is giving 10% all designer cosmetics.

Macy’s friends and family ends today, and Lord and Taylor’s started. I think L&T has their cosmetics 10% off.
I ventured out to the mall today, but didn’t buy much at all. The store Lucky had 40% off everything, and I bought a shirt there.

^^ On the weekend of black Friday, Lord and Taylor was distributing $20 off coupons on a $40 purchase that included cosmetics too. That was a great deal.

^^That’s what Nordstrom is probably matching.

L Occitane sells a trio of shea hand creams in 1 ounce tubes for $28. http://usa.loccitane.com/shea-butter-hand-cream-trio,82,1,29193,626386.htm

At Trader Joes they are selling a gift set quite similar for $7.99 that I am very happy with also made of shea butter. I like TJ’s packaging better. They are also selling a tub of pomegranate body butter for $5.49.

I’ve heard so many people say they like that TJ gift set shea butter - I just need one nearby to give it a try! Maybe have to ask D1 to bring me one from her city!

@raclut are the Trader Joes sets large enough to make a nice gift?

Thanks @raclut! I realized that I may be taking a little road trip to a town that DOES have a TJ’s - this might make it definitely worth my while!

Additional question re: the TJ products raclut mentioned above…

Has anyone tried the exfoliating body scrub? Comments?

Is the concentrated hand lotion pleasantly scented? The one D in particular who would enjoy these would want them to have a bit of a pleasant scent to them.

Living Social has a deal for home state t-shirts for $14.99. https://us-mg4.mail.yahoo.com/neo/launch?.rand=fvrcmdh85jemg#4148769436 They were recently featured on The Grommet, but they were a bit steep in price in my mind for a gray t-shirt. I got one for my son who lives in Seattle, across the country from his PA home. When I clicked on the deal, it had a special offer of $12.99, which made it an even easier decision.

@movemetoo @abasket

These items are large enough to give as a gift or a stocking stuffer. (Trader Joe’s)
There are a lot of reviews of the products on youtube and elsewhere online.
The prices are such that you could buy more than one item and give it to one person or split the sets into separate gifts. For example give one person one hand lotion and one body scrub. Just buying one of each could make 3 gift sets. There are a lot more products then the ones I mentioned. For example their coconut body butter is very popular. They also have tea tree shampoo and conditioner and facial cleansers, moisturizers and serums. Lots of stuff but a lot of it sells out as we get closer to the holidays. I see their stuff selling marked up on ebay and amazon.
Visit the store and see all that they have because everything is under $10. Save the receipt and if needed you can return it.

Thank you I will be checking it out tomorrow!!
