Your Good Buy Of The Day (Part 1)

Got an email with a personal code for 30% off clearance at Bloomies and ordered the DVF Gilet dress I wanted - they were the only ones who had it in my size! $500 dress came down to $170. I’ll take that. I will wear it over a blouse like a vest - perfect.

Check your Bloomies emails for the code if you are looking at their clearance. It works even on reduced price Burberry stuff.

I’m a fan of the TJ Pom body butter, light pleasant scent, not too sweet.

Rare trip to a mall and found a store called Cotton Up, got a few gifts they have reduced prices for the holidays. Got my bro a fleece hoodie $15, very good looking, plus a cotton shirt for $20, nice soft comfy casual.

Forgot to report- Costco Kirkland brand K cups (I buy the Pacific Bold) is on sale - 100 K cups for 31.99

Thanks for the TJ beauty product suggestions. I picked up stocking stuffers today including the three tube hand cream, the three pack body scrub, some oatmeal soap for my son who has sensitive skin on his face, as well as some antibacterial soap in a so pretty container!

Bought a Bella Electric Ceramic Tea Kettle (would have been about $70 on amazon.com) through the Office Depot website for $38.99 (item 631182), and googled up a 20% off one item coupon code*. There was also free shipping so total with tax was $32.91

*29491039 is the 20% off coupon code, expires today (not for ink and toner).

@Madison85, the tea kettle is so pretty.

I’m tempted to buy that tea kettle for my husband - he boils water on the stove a few times a week for iced tea and drives me crazy because he doesn’t stick around to turn off the timer or to stop the whistling! Does anyone have a Bella model?

It’s overpriced on Amazon - but you could read the reviews. (17 reviews and all 5 stars)

Abasket… For $35, I would splurge on it!
I have a Breville kettle and will never go back to boiling water on the stove.

A brand new pair of Manolo 1/2 inch heel flats I missed out on last year… 80% off. Thanks to the nice lady who sent them to RealReal.

Here is the link for Office Depot:

Wow. Saks discount went to 60% off… I got a jacket and pants combo that amazingly showed up on their site… Woo hoo - a pantsuit! Very popular items, so the risk of waiting for 75% off was too great.

Bought a very nice Aloha shirt for H plus dark chocolate Godiva pearls. The shirt was marked $69.99 and the pearls were marked $3.95. All of it with coupons was $22! I’m happy and the “pearls” will be great for stockings.

My mom found a different Aloha shirt marked $69.99 but was only $40 after coupons and discounts.

Went to Nordstrom today and saved 10% on Laura Mercier. Mac was 25% off. Most of the cosmetic lines are discounted 10%. They are price matching someone, not sure who or how long it lasts.

Thank you @Madison85 for that tip on the electric tea kettle! Just nabbed it - as you said, listed at $38, a 20% coupon brings it to $31ish, free shipping today AND my husband had $20 Office Depot reward $$ that he said I could use - so I ended up paying like $13 for it! This should make his tea making more efficient and I’ll like the way it looks on the counter! Win - Win!!!

It is a very nice looking kettle!

I would enjoy just a stainless steel one too - but this is something a little fun and I am a sucker for things with color - it could also be cute at our beach cottage!

I love my electric, stainless steel kettle from Adagio Teas. It heats the water quickly. I like that I can set it for boiling (for Irish Breakfast or Earl Grey) or for 180F for green teas. Also new customers get $5 off your first purchase. There is also a ‘Frequent Cup’ program where you get one point for every dollar spent. When you reach 100 pts you get a $10 certificate…and this Friday (12/18) is a double point day.

Re: stainless tea kettles. Husband makes many cups of tea a day. Read the directions for keeping scaling under control. Apparently, it’s cream of tartar, according to manual.

Cute tea kettle! They have them at Target too. I just found out that Cutco knives are doing road shows at Costco - cutco at Costco! I have soooo much to do, but am thinking of sprinting down to my Costco and get a couple for some hard to shop for people. Anyone know about the prices there? I checked this site to make sure they were there: http://www.costco.com/special-events.html

I went to a TJMaxx runway store last week and bought a very pretty midnight blue lace DVF dress for $79 ( retail price was $295.) Have a late afternoon June wedding I am going to wear it to.
