I like to buy from 6pm (zappos discount site) but their free shipping is now $50. Usually what I want isn’t $50 and I hate having to find something else to buy.
Twice I have looked on Amazon and found what I was looking for but free shipping and returns for prime members. So I got free shipping for less than $50 and free returns. Both times the item was sold from 6pm. It doesn’t always work but it’s worth looking at.
^^^Deb, this is a great tip. I used to order from 6pm so much - I would just order a single item all the time - cause free shipping! But now with this stupid $50 minimum, not so much - I’ve been so angry that they switched that!
Are you saying that is just happens to be the same brand/style of item that is also on 6pm or that what is on Amazon Prime is actually SOLD by 6pm? Cause then I have to wonder if you can search by “6pm” and come up with items?
Ordered 2 skirts from HauteLook because I was not sure which size would fit. They shipped the 40 and sent an apologetic email saying they underestimated the supply, so instead of the 42 they gave me a credit of $10. The 40 was too tight for my taste, so on my way home, I ran through the downtown Rack to return it. Of course I had to check the shoes, and there was a pair of Jimmy Choo Aza pumps, nude patent, kitten heel, size 40 1/2, perfectly in the original box… 70% off. These are classic pumps, and I have never seen the beige on sale! Thanks to my failed purchase, I got the shoes and the $10 credit. Bonus!
I’m curious to know if returns are under the Amazon policy or not. I stopped ordering at 6pm not as much because of the shipping but the return shipping which is 100% on the customer. The last time I had to send something back, it was $12. The shoes were more than $50 so I didn’t pay for the shipping to me.
I’ve found many items, especially clothes/shoes to be free return shipping on Amazon. I agree that it makes a difference in whether I will buy on-line or not.

It’s is one of those crazy thing. Amazon’s pricing is all over the place, even different sizes are different prices and 6pm goes up and down also.

Anthropologie has 40% off sale items. I bought PJ bottoms for both D’s for $17.97 each (regular $59.95) and a pair of AG jeans for myself of $71.40 (regular $188 at Anthropologie $168 at Nordstrom). I also bought both girls some cute bowls as they have lots of mismatched things in their kitchens.
You can search on Amazon by 6pm. Found an adorable pair of boots. You guys are SO helpful!!!

yes. It was a couple of dollars more on Amazon, but the shipping was free so came up a couple of dollars less and I trust Amazon.
6pm is the clearance site of Zappos and is owned by Amazon.
