D2 and I are going to Italy when they had their 2 for 1 sale back in Feb. I paid $750 back then.
Bought a nice flowering pot of anthuriums for the lady who worked with me at insurer to get Dās insurance status clarified. She and I worked together for many months and weāre happy to finally meet and know that D is once again covered under our family policy, retroactively to when she turned 26, so no gap in coverage.
The plant was under $13 at Samās, but having someone to work with at insurer was priceless.
I also bought a large unscented ALL detergent that will last us a year or more for $15 @ Samās. H was happy to buy 2 10ā HMDI cables for $20. Also bought some macademia nuts to bring to the docs I will be seeing in a few weeksāmarked down $2 per container.

FYI - many retailers already marked down their designer goodies. Saks, Nordstrom, Neiman, Bergdorf, Barneys, and some euro web retailers.
Oh well, they were convenient and a length he liked and we were only buying two. It worked for us. Yes, often Amazon and online has amazing prices. When we are not in a rush, we will just get what is convenient when we see it, especially if weāre only buying one or two of the item instead of a whole bunch.
I got my MOG dress at L&T online yesterday for 40% off (I think it was because they only had one left and it happened to be my size)! The same dress is still full price and Dillards and other stores online.
Iām very glad I booked rooms in two DC hotels a week ago, when we learned where the May 2017 conference we are attending will be held. I booked two different refundable hotels. One is right next to the convention center and is $199 for 3 Nites and 3 Nites free (average $99/nite). The other is $222/nite for all 6 Nites but includes breakfast. Itās 1/2 mile from the convention center.
Rooms now are $300-400, if you can get one! The conference has reserved the hotels and all the rooms for the 15,000 estimated attendees.
Man, what a difference a week makes!

Just received 62 bucks back from Nordstrom Rack, because some things I recently ordered were on their clear the racks special. They said this is the last time they will be refunding differences when that happens.
