Since it is Small Business Saturday, I went to indy bookstore and bought two Springbok jigsaw puzzles. They were 20% off, though I didnāt know that until I was at the register. They are a gift to me. 
I got 3 Google pixel phones yesterday, for $10 a month from Verizon, which is a great deal.
BUT, the sales person toold me the SIM card or whatever from 1 of the old phones could be used in the Google phone. So my son tried putting it in, and it didnāt go well. Took it to Verizon store, and they said they never told me that, and it would cost at least $145 to get another phone, IF they could get insurance, retroactively. They could, so I was ready to pay $145, because I didnāt know what else to do. (Did I mention these 3 phones already cost me about 4 hours or more of quality time spent with Verizon???)
Then I got the bright idea of calling Google. They said they couldnāt warranty the phone bc we didnāt buy it from Google, but hooked us up with a place to get it fixed, and they were able to fix it.
Guess how much they chargedā¦
WAIT FOR ITā¦
NOTHING!!! (I do plan to remind my son to tip them at the store).
It did cost my son 2 hours of driving time, because he had to leave his phone there and pick it up later. But, I give a big positive āshout outā to GOOGLE, and my sentiments of āVerizon, YOU Suckā have not changed much.

@patsmom - I just found this today at a store near us called Paper Source (donāt know where all their stores areā¦ if they are nation wide) for FSIL, who has been brewing beer since last Christmas when we got him a start-up kit (they now own a refrigerator just for their beer). I thought it was genius for beer lovers! And different from other beer-related gifts.

Has anyone researched deals available this weekend on iPads? Iām in the market for an iPad Air 2, 128GB, WiFi and cellular. Any good deals out there this weekend?
I bought an iPad ((air 2, wifi only) for my mom on BF online at Best Buy. They had the best prices overall. Iād expect to see further deals on Monday.
Target has 15% off today and tomorrow, but I donāt know if iPads are included.
I got the same deal, zeebamom, for DH. Hopefully theyāll repeat it tomorrow for Cyber Monday for nottelling.

@1214mom - I have a google phone AND Project Fi as my cell carrier and one of the greatest things about that is dealing with Google customer service which always has real people answering email and phone and they know what theyāre doing AND have the authority to fix things (like a refund for the time I accidentally turned on my phoneās wifi hotspot and my Kindle used it to stream Netflix for like 8 hoursā¦)
